Key accountabilities and measures 61 Working with the packaging manager to deliver packaging strategy aligning SO&HO commercial & technical strategies and driving its implementation 61 Working with the packaging manager manage and assist all packaging suppliers in the region in accordance with business & technical and social compliance aspects 61 In collaboration with packaging manager deliver savings on all packaging types and ensure best packaging pricing in region is delivered via RFP, cross costing, cost negotiations etc. Create Regional competition on all packaging and transit test to deliver viable bulk solutions. 61 Work with buying teams and GM suppliers and UK teams to identify buying opportunities for print/packaging 61 Complete and monitor in collaboration with packaging manager and UK packaging team the regional Packaging Swot analysis 61 Manage communication/queries with garment manufacturers and print suppliers on packaging lead time and general packaging related queries 61 Set and agree a lead time and prices for each packaging item with all packaging/print suppliers in accordance with fast fashion/trade time requirements 61 Monitor and conduct technical/print quality audits including (Print lab values and mellow colour readings) visiting suppliers for an on-site colour checks 61 Supporting UK teams for projects and requests including complete clutter development working with garment manufacturers and buyer requirements trials, innovation, RFID, store issues, development. 61 Provide training for all regional supplier on GM Packaging systems. 61 Create seamless organization, work closely with all functions of business, BU packaging leads, Packaging team, SO merchandisers, Buyers and Garment manufacturers.. 61 Conduct assignments at the discretion of the Superiors Key skills 61 Bachelor’s degree or local equivalent – preferably in packaging design, print or related packaging industry field 61 At least 8 -10 years relevant experience with at least 2 years prior experience in a packaging company or sourcing team Business Competency: Setting Direction: 61 Creates a clear plan for daily operations to deliver business priorities on time 61 Inform packaging supply base and product factories of M&S packaging priorities and work in close collaboration to ensure all priorities are delivered.
