Responsibilities: Support manager to run quality assurance team smoothly. Identify product quality issues and potential safety risk from item selection stage to finished product. Support sourcing/merchandiser team for the test query; As a contact window to third party lab for test and factory audit. Review the quotation/TAT/report from lab, control the test cost. Develop and manage product test/inspection protocol. Communicate with vendors and sourcing team to resolve quality issues before mass production, lead for improvement and drive for excellence. Collect relative safety certificate/test reports for new item, review the reports, ensure it meets destination country regulation requirement. Support sourcing team for PP sample checking. Provide supplier analysis based on quality parameters and develop better quality controls.
Requirements: Degree holder in any related discipline. Over 8 years experience in quality control function in a multinational environment. Strong knowledge in electrical household appliance, kitchenware and household ware (stainless steel cookware, aluminium cookware, knives/kitchen tools/kettles/vaccum items/Bakeware/ acrylic & wooden products) is a must. Good knowledge for electrical household appliance, cookware, etc safety test, CE, UL, etc and relative safety standard, EN60335, EN12983, UL982, UL1026/1082/1083, etc. Good knowledge for EN and US market food contact regulation and other chemical test, LFGB, REACH, ROHS, MOCA, DGCCR, FDA, CA65, etc; Good knowledge for ISO 9001, BSCI, etc; Analysis test failed reason, and provide improvement plan; Follow quality complaint and make improvement plan; Good knowledge in total quality management of electrical household appliance, kitchenware and household ware and international products inspection standards and practices. Be fluent in spoken and written English. Must have a good knowledge of MS-Word / MS-Excel. Must be willing to travel to supplier locations to check on productions etc.
