The Role: Field Quality Engineer (currently, located in Guangzhou, China) Key responsibilities include the following: Activity 1: Quality issues handling on field Goal: have a good handling on the quality issues on customer site 1. When there is any product quality concern or service concern raised from customer, necessary react action should be taken on time to deal with the issues. 2. Coordinate quality issues between customer and EO team, feedback to EO plant on any customer issues and concerns. 3. Coordinating product problem solving by using tools of 8D, and timely validation the corrective actions/8D on customer site. 4. Coordinate EO internal finish quality analyses report for reply to customer, if necessary, explain and follow up any further issue raised by customer. 5. Review and confirm the PD (product discrepancy) status on customer site. 6. Provide technical assistance to customer if customer has any leather quality issue with its upper customer or OEM. 7. Follow up any ECC at customer side. Ensure ECC go smoothly without unnecessary scrap. Activity 2: Build customer relationship Goal: To ensure a good relationship with customer 1. Visit customer periodically, communicates to the customer quality or relevant department. 2. Understand and meet customer quality requirements and expectations. 3. Coordinate & provide training to the customer to let them better understand our product and prevent unnecessary and unreasonable rejection. 4. Report customer quality performance and trend, and make sure the long-term improvement.
Qualifications 1. College or above, majored in engineering 2. Minimum 5-years working experience on Automotive industry, QC experience is preferred 3. Well-understanding about TS16949/QS9000/VDA6.1. Knowledge on APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, SPC is preferred 4. Good command of English in both spoken and written 5. Good communication skills and interpersonal skills 6. Ability to work independently and under pressure. Travel is need. 7. Pass internal color test and vision test.
