Responsibilities: 61Responsible for leading an underwriting sub-team in handling underwriting assessment and service support to distribution teams / customer enquiries in underwriting related. 61Develop and implement underwriting and operational framework, policies, procedure guidelines. 61Monitor the processing of New Business and underwriting to ensure SLA is committed in good quality. 61Perform underwriting assessment and review the suggested cases from junior underwriters on both medical / non-medical cases within approval limits. 61Liaise with team leads in distribution channels to identify areas of improvement. 61Review and verify customer due diligence, AML and CTF duties in accordance with guidelines and regulations. 61Maintain good business relationship with channels, e.g agency, banassurance, broker etc.
Requirements: 61University graduate or above, prefer with professional qualifications e.g. FLMI 61Minimum 8 years solid experience in Life and medical field underwriting of which at least 2 years in managerial role 61Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, self-motivated and effective team player 61Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to all levels. 61Ability to work under pressure and multi-tasking in a dynamic and changing environment. 61Good command of written in English and Chinese. 61Familiar with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
