Role and responsibility: - Evaluate and recommend storage technologies and solutions from leading vendors (e.g. IBM, EMC, Pure Storage, NetApp) to meet business needs. - Lead the storage team in designing and implementing scalable, high-performance storage solutions. - Oversee the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of on-premise storage systems, including SAN, NAS, and hybrid solutions. - Ensure optimal performance, availability, and capacity of storage infrastructure. - Manage storage lifecycle, including upgrades, migrations, and decommissioning of legacy systems. - Serve as the subject matter expert for enterprise storage platforms such as IBM FlashSystem, EMC PowerMax/PowerStore, Pure Storage FlashArray, and NetApp AFF systems. - Manage relationships with storage vendors, negotiate contracts, and oversee procurement of hardware and software. - Stay updated on the latest advancements in storage technologies and evaluate their applicability to the organization. - Collaborate with security team to ensure storage systems are secure and compliant with organizational policies and regulatory requirements. - Implement access controls, encryption, and other security measures to protect sensitive data. - Manage related budget. - Allocate resources effectively to meet project deadline and organizational goals.
Requirement: - 10+ years of relevant experience in which at least 5 years in managerial position with regional coverage. Candidates with less experience may be considered for the manager position. - Hands on experience on position related technical components. - Technology or related discipline Technical Skills: - Deep knowledge of storage protocols. - Familiarity with storage management tools and software - Strong understanding of data protection, backup, and disaster recovery solutions. - Experience with hybrid cloud storage integrations is a plus.
