Scania is transforming from a supplier of trucks, buses, and engines to a provider of comprehensive and sustainable transport solutions. As part of this shift, Scania has made a strategic decision to establish a third industrial hub in China. This project, undertaken within Scania Production & Logistics, aims to develop and implement full-scale assembly operations to support Scania’s global expansion.
Position Summary: The HR Business Partner (HRBP) for the Production&Logistics Division will play a pivotal role in aligning human resource strategies with business goals, collaborating closely with department leadership to enhance employee engagement, performance, and productivity. This role provides proactive, end-to-end HR support across multiple functions within the P&L Division, focusing on key HR processes, including talent acquisition, performance management, succession planning, employee relations, and organizational development.
Key Responsibilities: Annual HR Processes 61 Execute and oversee the annual HR cycle activities, including performance and salary reviews, promotions, and other HR initiatives. Talent and Organizational Management 61 Identify organizational needs and opportunities in line with business demands. 61 Actively participate in management team meetings, providing HR insights and solutions. Compliance and Process Management 61 Ensure compliance with Scania’s global and local People & Culture processes (recruitment, onboarding, performance management, compensation, career development, learning, and offboarding). 61 Guide managers on Scania's labor relations strategy and local labor law processes, including managing misconduct and harassment cases. Employee Engagement 61 Coordinate and support ESB (Employee Satisfaction and Engagement) initiatives with managers to boost employee satisfaction. 61 Participate in HR projects and initiatives to drive continuous improvement in employee engagement. Training and Development 61 Identify business training needs, coordinate training sessions, and follow up to evaluate training effectiveness. 61 Coach and challenge managers in leadership development aligned with Scania’s Leadership Model and the Scania Way. Data-Driven HR 61 Leverage data analytics to inform HR decision-making, creating insights through people data. 61 Monitor HR metrics and collaborate with central HR to address trends and deviations through data analysis and business cases. Continuous Improvement 61 Support Scania’s continuous improvement culture, aligning improvement initiatives with the Scania Way. Additional Responsibilities 61 Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications: Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is required; a Master’s degree is preferred. Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience as an HRBP or in a similar HR role, ideally within manufacturing, engineering, or technical industries. Skills: Strong knowledge of HR best practices, employment laws, and labor regulations. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to influence and collaborate across organizational levels. Analytical skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making. High adaptability, strong problem-solving capabilities, and attention to detail. Preferred Qualifications: HR certification (e.g., PHR, SHRM-CP) or equivalent. Experience in a technical or engineering-centric industry. Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
