工艺工程师PIE/Global External Manufacturing (GEM), including domestic and oversea foundry business

A. Main Purpose of the Role

Outsourcing of global wafer manufacturing, selection and certification of global wafer manufacturing.

Management and continuous improvement of outsourcing of global wafer manufacturing.

The Function of Frontend Subcon or suppliers management would take care of outsourcing Frontend manufacturing and testing engineering, which would serve for Corp business target with engineering competence and manufacturing professional knowledge.

B. Key Areas of Accountability:

? Responsible for outsourcing of global wafer manufacturing.

? Responsible for outsourcing selection and certification of global wafer manufacturing.

? Responsible for management and continuous improvement of outsourcing of global wafer manufacturing: quality, capacity, output, delivery date and cost.

? Responsible for Frontend Subcon or supplier site daily operation such as capacity and yield issue.

? Responsible for capacity/supply chain/cost down with 2nd outsourcing Fab, ECN , new outsourcing Fab qual  to meet Corp biz.

? Drive and support outsourcing Fab sites for continuous quality improvement program including internal/external 8D.

? Support and drive yearly outsourcing Fab audit and customer request/audit in each outsourcing Fab for releasing product.

? Support to maintain master data in outsourcing Fab and SAP including product yield in SAP and SYL/SBL limit setup & follow up.

? Regular physical count.

? Monthly outsourcing Fab performance review including throughput, cycle time, yield, cost saving project which come out from continuous improvement plan.

? Support quality team to onsite check the effectiveness of the implemented corrective action. 

? Support FE engineering team and R&D team for new product/ technology/  process improvement introduction projects;

C. Requirements

? Engineering major with bachelor’s degree graduation at least.

? 5 years or above working experience in semiconductor Fab NPI or PIE management industry.

? Be familiar with Outsourcing of global wafer manufacturing.

? Be familiar with Front end operation including new technology/product introduction project management.

? Be familiar with SPC, FMEA, MSA etc quality tool.

? Good knowledge of wafer fab platform and its support to product engineering.

? Quick learning at product test method and parameters.

? Fluent in English reading, writing and speaking

D. Organisational Context:

Main products/services/position in market 

? WeEn outsourcing Fab Management team is the business owner to wafer & test manufacturing in subcon.

? Outsourcing Fab Management team would work with Backend engineer and Quality Manager on internal quality incident closure, external customer complaint closure, routine follow-up the effectiveness of corrective actions implementation and finish goods quality audit within the responsible at FAB or supplier.

? Outsourcing Fab Management team shall support SCM team on wafer baredie lever on time delivery.

E. Key Issues Facing the Role:

? Wafer and test Engineering expertise.

? Wafer yield management and improvement.

? Interaction engineering knowledge with die structure.

? Capacity check and work with buyer about the wafer cost down structure.

? Value up engineering and production among material, process and efficiency e.g. CLIP, cycle time, yield etc.

? Have basic knowledge in failure analysis and reliability which leads to process continuous improvement.

F. Experience:

? 5 years or above working experience in Semiconductor wafer Manufacturing.

? 2 years or above team management experience.

? 2 years or above PIE or NPI engineering experience.

G. Key Organisational Relationships:

? Report to Operations Director
