Key responsibilities of this position include: In collaboration with the China, Hong Kong, and Singapore teams, lead new business development activities to secure incremental growth through industry leading pitches and proposal development Take the lead in business pitch projects to enable the effective management of pitch decks/proposals, integrating feedback from various teams Maintain a holistic knowledge of the China healthcare industry to channel new ideas into the team for business development Be the point person for MIMS in global pitch opportunities either with Pharma companies directly or with global agency network partners Work closely with the Scientific and Operations leads in China and regionally to effectively identify team member capacity and optimize resources for new business activities Develop trusted relationships with potential clients and maintain a deep understanding of their needs to proactively provide tailored and insightful consultancy/solutions
Key requirements At least 3-5 years of experience in medical communications agency, pharmaceutical industry or equivalent environment, preferably with 2 years in an agency Deep experience selling and “hunting” for business Excellent presenter and pitch proposal communicator in both Mandarin and English Experience preferred in managing direct reports to provide direction, coaching, and mentoring Strong strategic acumen in helping clients with their business and in leading internal teams to develop strategic plans Skilled in new/organic business development; can work with team members to identify and capitalize on business opportunities Highly organised with attention to detail and excellent quality control skills
