Job description Your focus will be: 1) Growing our market share with new customers in the industries we currently serve in Europe but not in China yet and/or finding new customers in industries we are in today in China. 2) Analyzing the needs of our customers and offering a solution for all kinds of filtration needs. 3) Investigating and defining other industries and markets in which Trislot could be successful. Responsibilities As Sales Engineer, you will create your own customer portfolio and business based upon our competences, but not limited to wedge wire only (e.g., welding stainless steel…) As part of your training, you will assist the team with further developing our business After the training period you will expand your customer portfolio by creating new opportunities and find/identify new applications/potential markets for our products You will define the needs of our customers, and you will translate/communicate this to our engineering department In cooperation with our engineering staff and our commercial team, you will prepare and manage quotations and orders Updating weekly, and reporting monthly sales and pipeline Requirements You have obtained a commercial/business degree in which a strong affinity with technology is an absolute must Or you have obtained a technical degree and you are able to combine this with a strong commercial and practical experience You are a social person, and you possess the outgoing personality required to excel in a sales role You are a good listener, and you have an analytical mind so that you fully understand the needs of the customers You are organized and can handle multiple projects You have a nose to find new opportunities/customers A few years of experience in a technical sales job would be very helpful, but it is not a must. Motivation and dedication are key. You are punctual and accurate in following up with your customers, and you strive towards long term relationships You can function in an autonomous context with a lot of responsibilities You enjoy working in an international multicultural atmosphere, and you don’t mind travelling frequently (up to 50% of your time) for short periods of time.
