For the relevant market, region and customer accounts, both existing and new, the BDM is accountable for:
? Identifying key stakeholders and decision makers throughout the account organisation, at all levels and across functions, creating long term, mutually beneficial relationships ? Developing an in-depth knowledge of the account’s business, culture, drivers, strategy, goals and how they generate revenue and profit ? Identifying the customers’ wants and needs, both defined and undefined, to determine target opportunities in the short, medium and long term and working with Marketing to assess the viability of such opportunities ? Driving the Marketing message at target segment to deliver compelling Victrex solutions to key stakeholders (internally & externally) and decision makers within the customer organisation, presenting the benefits, handling objections and defining a time-bound path to revenue generation to secure the business ? Defining and delivering the account plan and pipeline management to deliver impactful solutions to the customer ? Negotiating and closing contractual arrangements ? Maintaining an accurate view of customer activity through CRM in order to aid business decision making and analysis. e.g. accurate account forecast demands ? Liaises with the OD function to ensure an integrated and proactive approach to the management of all opportunities within the customers reach
