As Key Account Manager, your essential job functions will include the following: Operational Management of OEM Program(s) ? Partner with Dealer Tire functional area manager(s) to manage the OEM relationships and business opportunities based on the assigned OEMs. ? Perform as a key OEM contact and collaborate on ideas to continue to expand and grow the program, while operating in concert with the MD. ? Pursue new business opportunities for the company using existing network of OEM/OES contacts ? Support new business development by developing new OEM/OES contacts through personal network, attending industry conferences, and other avenues. ? Facilitate all program operations communication between OEM tire program manager and Dealer Tire enterprise in order to manage the daily needs of the program and resolve any outstanding issues. ? Work collaboratively with cross-functional stakeholders to bring about organizational consensus regarding the OEM strategy and its implementation. ? Lead webinars/conference calls for new or enhanced program elements. ? Lead weekly operational status calls with OEMs; reviewing all activity including current and future initiatives. ? Maintain and negotiate the renewal of assigned OEM contracts. Management of Assigned Specialty Area(s) for all OEM Program(s) ? Ensure all Program Elements and Dealer Tire program operations supports and meet the needs of the OEM(s). ? Examine and implement opportunities to improve processes, promoting effective communication and efficient program execution. ? Serve as the primary OEM contact for all OEM program operations information. ? Work with appropriate Program Operations subject matter expert for assigned Specialty Area(s) as necessary to manage the operations of the program. Management of Special Projects and Initiatives ? Manage and execute assigned special projects in support of the OEM(s) and Enterprise special project implementation. These may include new OEM program launch, new program element roll-out, or program enhancements o Lead communication with cross-functional areas. o Manage daily project scope, communication and implementation. ? Coordinate resources to facilitate the implementation of special projects. ? Provide guidance and coaching for project execution and implementation to meet the OEM goals and objectives. ? Manage and oversee project budgets and maintain line of sight through all recommendations. Team management ? Manage team members effectively to achieve department goals. ? Serve as team leader to influence, share successful stories, coach, motivate and develop team members. Other Duties as Assigned. Position Requirements ? Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Business, Marketing, Management or related field is preferred. ? Minimum of 8 years of experience in OEM level business development, product management, project management, program management, product development or marketing operations is required. ? Proven history of experience with increasingly more complex projects is required. ? Project management experience is required. ? Familiarity working in a team environment composed of business and project management professionals is required. ? Demonstrated ability to develop and prioritize detailed business requirements is required. ? Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and Mandarin are critical to success and are required. ? Ability to present thoughts, ideas and concepts clearly in both formal and informal venues is required. ? Attention to detail and thinking systematically are critical to success and required. ? Ability to perform and thrive in a fast-paced environment is required. ? Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word) is required. ? Proficiency with or willingness to learn Microsoft Access, Visio, and Project are required. ?
