Responsible for formulating, driving and implementing category strategies Responsible for formulating and implementing strategic engagement models with key suppliers Responsible for managing relationships with stakeholders internally and externally Responsible for the overall development and execution of the Category scope – procurement of asset, technology, and services Duties and Responsibilities
Lead and execute the procurement projects and processes within the Category Scope Lead Supplier Contract/Price negotiations Actively engage with technical function and leaders of various Global Business Functions and Terminals Develop and manage key suppliers through APM Terminals’ Supplier Relationship Management framework. Support the business functions and business units in resolving Supplier Delivery, Quality, Commercial or Contractual issues. Drive accountability and deliver results on key financial and operational metrics such as cash discipline, cost savings and asset utilization. Act as the center of excellence for the managed categories through complete understanding of the products, their application, suppliers, industry trends, competitive landscape, future technologies, and innovations Coordinate with regional and local procurement teams to ensure effective negotiation and contract implementation, harvesting supplier synergies and streamlined engagement with business functions across relevant categories. Champion implementation of internal risk management/mitigation controls to ensure compliance to corporate policies and statutory rules, regulations, and laws Key Working Relationships

Minimum 3-5 years of work experience within procurement or sales is preferred Technical degree and/or business management degree is preferred Project Management experience Supplier/customer management & negotiations experience will be an advantage Experience with strategy development and implementation is preferred Ability to, independently and collaborate as a part of a team, proactively and successfully complete assigned tasks with excellent results while meeting agreed deadlines Ability to grasp information quickly, understand and contribute to problem solving Ability to manage internal & external stakeholders efficiently Excellent English language communication skills both verbal and written is mandatory Willingness to travel approx. 10-20% of work time
