What You Will Do: 1. Lead and coach a Supply Planning team of OEM planning as well as trading and import finished goods, fostering a collaborative, inclusive and motivating team environment. 2. Lead team to ensure required customer service levels are met while maintaining appropriate inventory levels and monitoring E/O inventory. 3. Convert the demand plan into a network supply plan. This includes developing and sending a master production schedule and distribution requirements plan while optimizing network capacity. 4. Manage inventory and achieve required inventory levels at the defined inventory component level across network stocking locations to meet customer service levels. Address inventory imbalances and implement corrective actions. 5. Identify and resolve capacity constraints over the planning horizon to support development of a feasible plan. 6. Balance production planning across the network to maintain sprint capacity, including load leveling in preparation for maintenance shutdowns, seasonal volumes, etc. 7. Identify and address supply variability issues and support demand planning in forecast accuracy improvement process to improve overall plan feasibility and reliability. Coordinate root cause analysis and resolution of these issues with key cross-functional stakeholders as needed. 8. Monitor key master data and supply chain parameters in planning/ERP system(s.) 9. Coordinate inter-plant scheduling constraints related to schedule break-ins, raw materials, etc. facilitated through regular communication. 10. Proactive for supply risk identification and keep information updated timely to demand planning and commercial. Support emergency problem and take immediate actions. 11. Support the sales and operations planning process. 12. Identify, analyze & implement continuous improvement opportunities to result in service improvements or cost savings. Interact with key cross-functional stakeholders as required for success. 13. Implement new procedures to support evolving business practices.
Minimum Qualifications: 1. Five to Six years degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field of study. 2. Three to four years of applicable Supply Chain Planning experience, preferably inventory management or master planning for manufacturing environment with global operations. 3. Advanced proficiency with common ERP and planning systems and MS Office, primarily Excel and Power Point. 4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications: 1. Advanced degree a plus. 2. APICS Certification preferred. 3. SAP and MS Access experience highly desirable. 4. A track record of successfully delivering to Key Performance Indicators and business objectives. 5. Experience in continuous improvement. 6. Strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills to drive decisions and build consensus among stakeholders.
