Manage and develop sales and marketing activities with customers by the delivery of products and services to meet customer demands within defined areas to meet business targets
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Area of Responsibility -Forecast and plan volumes for products within defined region to ensure product availability for customers within cost limits -Manage sales activities (volumes, EBITDA, customer base) to maximize profitability -Manage goal setting process and relationship with facilitators to ensure products are marketed according to business strategies and policies -Conduct market intelligence and provide feedback to competitor pricing and investments, existing and target product mix, growth opportunities and potential development partners for collaboration to business units -Develop and solicit agreement to Performance Cell Business strategies and plans with details on planned activities to develop Borouge's market position, expected business results and required resources
People -Positive impact on other team members
Customer -Support PTE to work with customer terms and conditions, pricing agreements and credit deals to ensure alignment with defined policies -Assist the General sales manager to coordinate the daily work -Take lead and participate the negotiation level with key customers
Interfaces -Maintain market dialogue with value chain to consolidate Borouge’s position -Influence the market through strategic contact and relationships -Identify growth opportunities through interaction with key players
QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:
Minimum Qualification -Academic: business, marketing and / or technical degree, fluent in both written and spoken English. -Be familiar with Plastic industry and application in Automotive. -Excellent in value chain selling. -Minimum 5+ years relevant working experience on sales, technical service, product development and market development -Thorough understanding of the structure of the market and the factors that influence demand, profitability and innovations -Detailed technical and commercial understanding of products and their applications -Strong leadership to align all functions towards complete customer focus, acting as a voice of the customer
