Reporting to the Enterprise Account Director, this full time and permanent position is based in Shanghai. The Enterprise Business Development is responsible for nurturing new business leads to drive sales. Enterprise Business Development will negotiate and close deals before handing off accounts to Onboarding team and Corporate Account Manager. Key responsibilities: 61 Identify and land high-value prospects in the market to expand Vistra’s customer base and capture market share 61 Nurture leads and develop initial relationship with assigned new business accounts 61 Develop and execute a strategic plan for prospects to ensure targets are met and exceeded, creating individual strategic account plans for priority prospects 61 Develop a deep understanding of customer needs and proactively apply product and market knowledge to sell insightful, innovative solutions 61 Leverage Subject Matter Experts to provide the technical expertise & knowledge to sell insightful, innovative solutions during the time of sale 61 Collaborate with EAM and SME to negotiate and close new business, ensuring smooth account transitions after the initial sale 61 Coordinate with Onboarding team to guarantee effortless handoffs and white glove service is provided once the initial deal is closed/won Key requirements: 61 Bachelor’s degree or validated network within the industry 61 Desirable – accounting, legal or company secretarial qualification 61 Minimum 7 years of Business Development experience in Corporate / MNCs VC/PE backed scale-ups / Tech & Life Science sector 61 Demonstrated ability to identify, prospect, convert and deliver new revenue 61 A self-starter with a mature and established intermediary network as well as direct client relationships with potential new business opportunities. 61 An entrepreneurial and solution minded individual 61 Proven experience and success in a similar sales/business development role 61 Excellent network and market knowledge across the Asia corporate, tech and VC 61 Strong team player with ability to also act alone 61 Excellent written and verbal communication skills 61 Excellent time management skills; ability to prioritise 61 Proactive, self-motivated leader with ambition, energy and drive
