Responsibilities: 1. Vendor Audit: Conduct Factory Audits in accordance with Surity process & standards. Document required Corrective Actions & validate their implementation prior to first shipment. 2. Product Development: Working with the sourcing team, vendors & clients, align and document quality requirements by product. These should be captured in DCL / GPS / Specification. 3. Product Compliance: Evaluate all new products, ensuring they fully comply with defined legal, safety & quality requirements, and that all CAP’s are implemented prior to Gold Seal. Collect & maintain Technical Files, ensuring they are complete, properly filed, and accessible. Evaluate pre-shipment inspection reports, and working with the Sourcing team, ensure resolutions are agreed and implemented for all ‘Fail’ and ‘Pending’ inspections. 4. Stakeholder relationships: Build & maintain a strong network & communication flow internally, and with our vendors & clients. Work collaboratively, ensuring our team are aligned on project development, and that quality concerns are communicated, escalated & effectively addressed. 5. Issue Resolution: Own the resolution of Post Shipment Incidents. Identify corrective actions, and work with vendors & the Merchandising team to implement. Escalate & inform as required.
Requirements: 1. At least 5 years Quality/Engineering experience within DIY product category, experience of Client markets. Product knowledge in Hardware or Camping preferred 2. Engineering degree or above 3. Fluent written & spoken English 4. Strong technical & Category knowledge, including BSCI, ISO, Relevant Market & Product Standards. 5. Collaborative, strong communication skills and attention to details 6. Resolute under pressure, solution /outcome focused. 7. Anticipates issues & proactively mitigates risks.
