This role is responsible for developing and driving commercial strategy on the Retail Business, capturing insight of the eco-system dynamics to enable Retail business growth in a sustainable way. This role works closely with the Retail business team to facilitate BD strategy development, lead commercial strategy transformation and evolvement to maximize growth opportunities and keep improving both productivity and competitive advantage. As the Compliance Champion of the BU, this role is also extensively responsible for driving operation excellence in compliant ways of Vaccine/EP/Retail, including taking the proactive leadership on executing compliance control process and providing comprehensive performance and execution dashboard, and securing Financing efficiency and effectiveness. This role is expected to support the PMO & Operation Excellence Lead on the BU-level critical initiatives, especially the Retail focused projects.
>Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic operational plans to enable sustainable growth and transformation of Retail business
- Develop the performance dashboard to empower the decision-making of the Retail business team
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams (e.g. Finance, BAI) to provide accurate and relevant performance assessment and propose action plans to Retail business team
- Develop anticipating & mitigation management toolset and controls to mitigate any potential risks; Coordinate with legal and regulatory teams to address compliance issues if any (at BU level)
- Lead compliance-related projects and ensure adherence to regulatory standards (at BU level)
- Lead and coordinate the comprehensive and systematic Financing efficiency and effective analysis and follow-through process and procedure (at BU level)
- Support PMO & Operation Excellence Lead to ensure optimal resource allocation across business areas through guideline design and monitoring; Rebalance resource allocation across strategic priorities and business functions accordingly (at both BU level and down to Retail business)
- Monitor and manage the key Retail projects, ensuring they are delivered well-within the timeline, scope and budget
- Utilize process improvement methodologies to streamline operations, reduce costs, and increase efficiency, make the adjustment/proposals as needed
- Collect feedbacks from cross-functional teams within and across BUs/functions to continuously improve the Retail operations, solutions, and processes
>Candidate Qualification
- Strong problem-solving skills
- 8+ years in Operations, Strategy, Business Planning, with a strong emphasis on project management and operational roles
- Proven experience in the China pharmaceutical industry
- Extensive project management experience with proven influencing capabilities
- Capable of working effectively across dynamic organizations and diversified cultures
- Strategic agility with the ability to set clear objectives and develop operational plans
- Deep understanding of market dynamics and fast learning capability around industry policies
- Candidate with Finance, Compliance or SFE background is preferred, particularly with MNC pharmaceutical company working experiences
- Retail or FMCG working background is a plus 0202 02
