Key Accountabilities: 1. Effectively manage and support an assigned customer base consisting of Mechanical Contractors, Engineers, Buyers, Planners, and other key individuals involved in manufacturing. 2. Maintain and increase the volume of magnetics sales revenue with both existing and prospective customers. 3. Work with and expand the current prospect database within specified business sectors to generate effective leads & exceed sales targets for the business. 4. Research and approach suitable end user opportunities relating to the companies’ measurement range of products. 5. Continually review distributor/dealer performance to ensure the territory achieves the required level of sales to support the overall sales budget. 6. Ensure distributor/dealer uptake relating to new product introductions. 7. Develop and implement operational/strategic plans to ensure territory growth and profit objectives are achieved. 8. Provide pre- and post-sales technical advice, assistance, and product education. 9. Ensure that all major product groups within the area of responsibility achieve budgeted sales. 10. Undertake cold calling exercises to assist in sales pipeline growth. 11. Conduct regular area reviews via phone, video conferencing and face to face visits with all customers. 12. Ensure gross margin growth through product management. 13. Establish, develop, and maintain effective working relationships with other departments. 14. Monitor, record, analyse and report on activity, trends, results, and recommendations relating to sales activities. 15. Provide sales forecasts and reports detailing activity via the Intranet database. 16. Prepare and submit relevant information in a timely and accurate manner. Person Specification: Experience: 84 Ideally, a formal engineering qualification, although knowledge is more important than qualification. 84 Proven experience within one or more of the following industry sectors is preferred: - 84 Industrial Products 84 Manufacturing 84 OEM Sales 84 Distributor / Reseller Sales 84 Experience of managing a sales budget, KPIs and strategy planning. 84 Experience of selling to end users, OEM’s & local/national distributors. 84 Previous experience working within a similar role. 84 Good level of spoken and written English.
