The objective of this role is to support the Merchandising Director to maximize commercial opportunities though the effective management of inventory, driving sales through improved availability, mark down arrangement, and maximizing profit.
Accountabilities: 1. Provide weekly and monthly key performance indicators (sales, stock, mark down etc); 2. Work with Merchandising Director to control inventory levels with discount proposal; 3. Provide analysis and summary of Markdown and Promotional activities ; 4. Key contact for channels on inventory availability queries; 5. Partner with Merchandising Director to create seasonal OTB for channels; 6. Provide historical analysis to develop Seasonal Planning Forecast; 7. Conduct detailed ad hoc analysis when required on specific products/channels;
Skills & Knowledge 61 Computer literacy – Microsoft office 61 Advanced skills in Excel, SAP, ERP and other ERP systems 61 Fluent in English (R/W/S/L) 61 Literacy with the internet 61 Basic Financial and Business acumen 61 Good analysis skills with format/template creation.
Experience 61 5-8 years of Merchandising planning experience in retail with minimum 2-3 years in footwear category is a plus 61 Functions in a global and matrix organization 61 Advanced knowledge in Product Lifecycle and Inventory management
