The Market & Risk Section, part of Energy Systems, DNV China, has twenty plus engineers at locations in Shanghai, Beijing and Tianjin. We hold a diverse portfolio of customers in Mainland China, Hong Kong and Macau, delivering services on Market & Risk (M&R) within the onshore and offshore oil & gas industry, refining and chemical industry, renewables industries (Wind, Nuclear, Solar, Hydrogen & CCUS).
We are seeking a dynamic HSE management consultant to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with experts from around the world on a variety of challenging projects for major clients. You will be expected to balance multiple projects within expectations and ensure quality of deliverables. You may also be required to travel to client’s locations to work with various project teams.
The job covers in depth teamwork and:
SHE management consulting and improvement.
SHE system development (including the writing/preparation of SHE management manuals, procedures and guidelines).
SHE performance assessment or audit.
Safety culture improvement consulting.
Emergency Response Management consulting.
Process Safety Management (PSM).
SHE related training etc.
Position Qualifications:

To qualify, the successful candidate needs to have:
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline (Process Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, safety Engineering, or similar) with a minimum of 5+ years of professional experience in the field.
A graduating Master’s or Ph.D. in a relevant discipline (Process Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Safety Engineering or similar). Prior work experience in the energy industry before obtaining the degree is advantageous
If has the SHE management experience, is advantage.
Additional valuable qualifications:
Fluent in Mandarin and English.
Excellent verbal communications skills – ability to communicate with all levels in an organization as well as external customers and manage projects effectively.
With Excellent report writing and presentation skills in Mandarin and English, is advantage.
Flexible attitude to working in a fast-paced and multi-disciplinary consultancy environment.
When required, a willingness to work out of offices to rapidly expand skills and company service knowledge.
Willingness to operate and excel in a “Doer – Seller” model.
Willingness to coach and develop others.
