Key tasks and Responsibilities Develop and maximize sales of candy toys in existing and new markets. Prepare his/her Annual Sales Plan and Annual Travel Plan, in coordination with the Business Development Director and the CEO. Maximize sales in existing markets, introducing to new SKUs to customers and making sure their full sales potential is reached; when needed, obtain additional distributors to ensure that all channels are well covered by those with highest potential. Enter new assigned markets, using his/her own commercial contacts, or finding new distributors through online research, market visit or trade fairs. Represent the company in international sales exhibitions. Send quotations, obtain POs, follow-up deposits & payments, coordinating with internal departments to make sure that POs are shipped on time, meeting customer′s requirements. Coordinate any other issue that may affect customers (customer′s own NPDs, approval of special discounts, logistic info, marketing materials, urgent or delayed shipments, lab certifications, audits, quality problems…) with internal departments (CEO, NPD, Marketing, Production, QA-QC…). Participate in the Monthly Sales Meeting, regularly updating the Top Management and the rest of the Sales Team about the assigned markets, sharing best commercial practices. Key competencies Degree/diploma in any discipline (preferably business, international trade, marketing…). Superb sales skills (able to organize sales in any market, maximizing the potential of each distributor and channel, avoiding commercial conflicts). Knowledge of the toy or candy industry is a strong plus. Proficient user of Microsoft Office. Native level of Mandarin, proficient level of English (will communicate directly with customers). Excellent presentation and communication skills. Able to work under pressure, handle multiple clients and orders simultaneously. Creative person, able to generate ideas to develop sales and solve problems in the assigned markets. Proactive, able to work independently in the assigned markets, but also a good team player that can coordinate critical issues affecting the assigned market/customers with other areas (NPD, Production, Quality…). Willing to be stationed in Ningbo, and travel regularly to foreign markets to attend exhibitions and visit customers. At least 5-10 years’ experience in international sales, preferably in the toy, candy-toy sector, or FMCG sector. Active contacts of toys/candy-toys distributors will be a strong plus. Good professional references, and a record of job stability (no job-hoppers)
