This is an important role in the Compliance Department focusing on sustainability for risk control. The goals of this role include supporting smooth completion of certification projects, in-time tracking, verifying, maintaining, and reporting on applicable data and records, and training in this area. Responsibility and tasks: · Sustainability Specialist is responsible for the implementation of policies and procedures to achieve TP’s sustainability targets. · Trains TPSH colleagues and facilitates smooth collaboration between stakeholders in TPSH and TPDK in sustainability work. · Supports, trains suppliers and monitors suppliers’ sustainability commitments to drive a positive development towards circular design, reduced waste, optimized/renewable energy use etc. through such efforts. · Works with suppliers to address environmental issues, such as pollution and waste treatment and ensures compliance with national and international environmental legislation. · Develops and maintains a sustainability database. · Supports Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) reporting at TPDK. Professional and personal competences: · Educational background: Environmental engineer, Biologist, Chemist etc. or relevant sustainability/compliance experience · Experience in working with suppliers and able to conduct trainings. · Experience with production methods, product development, typical materials, energy optimization and renewable energy solutions is a plus. · Familiarity with national and local legislation on sustainability and environment. · Familiarity with international frameworks and legislation on sustainability e.g., the Paris Agreement, Science-Based Targets initiative (SBTi), the Greenhouse Gas Protocol etc. is a plus. · Familiarity with or willing to gain expertise in the EU Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) and other regional legislation impacting TP. · Skilled in communicating and data analyzing. · Master English and Chinese in writing and speech. · Skilled user of MS Office package and MS Dynamics 365.
