JOB RESPONSIBILITIES 61 Daily responsibilities will include executing on brand’s guideline on store design standards. 61 Candidate should be passionate about store design as well as have a clear rationale in space planning. 61 Candidate needs to be very hands on, being able to independently develop an ideal store layout under supervision of Director of Store Design & Construction. Being able to draw and review construction detail and furniture shop drawing. Someone with design background and a real passion for interior design and design detail is highly recommended. 61 Candidate requires proficiency in drawing in AutoCAD and freehand sketches on a daily basis. 61 Asides from store design, candidate will be managing his/her assigned projects under the supervision of Senior PM and Director of Store Design & Construction. Candidate will be responsible for managing the entire project’s lifecycle from design conceptualization to design development, & internal department coordination, external consultant/vendor & landlord communication, construction management, budget management etc., bottom line goal is to ensure project’s design are in line with brand’s standards and also delivered the project on budget and on time. 61 Candidate needs to be a team player. Key Responsibilities: 61 Report to Senior Project Manager & Director of Store Design & Construction on all aspects of the work, 61 Concept and execute design under brand’s global and local guideline including but not limited to trabel retail, retail, outlet, temp/pop-up store and special sales project. 61 Work with the nominated consultancies, vendors & contractors on various collateral and guideline to ensure store are designed and built to the brand’s standard. 61 Work with travel retail account(s), consolidating project criteria and communicate our Brand’s design standard effectively. 61 Contribute to the whole team, the entire company. 61 Communicate project update and information with APAC Sales Director and other departments. 61 Daily communicate with headquarter New York’s store design manager on various design comments via email or telephone conference.
SKILLS and WORK EXPERIENCE 61 Minimum 5 years design professional experience at an international design consultancy companies. 61 Project Management skill is not a MUST, but would require candidate to have a clear sense of budget and program planning. 61 Ability to manage multiple phases of a project with minimal oversight while managing multiple priorities and meeting tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment. 61 Bachelor's Degree or above in Architectural or Interior Design is a Must. 61 Conversational level in Putonghua Chinese, Read and Write business English & conversational English 61 Computer Skill: proficiency with AutoCAD, Adobe CS, Sketch Up, Microsoft Office (Word, Power Point, Excel & Project)
