Responsibility: -Drive development and execution of high-rise mechanical component sourcing roadmap and strategic sourcing plan for the next 3 to 5 years based on the overall SC and product strategy concept together and in alignment with global cluster management team -Working on cost down measures and continuous cost reduction with key strategic global partners as part of the overall Procurement budget -Conduct or participate in regular periodic CORE supplier review sessions -Identifying and implementing total cost of ownership reduction opportunities -Monitoring supplier performance and understanding drivers of specific supplier performance deviations -Leading corrective action procedures and supplier improvement efforts when necessary -Collaborate with global High-Rise elevator platform team to lead and drive strategic sourcing initiatives for mechanical components according to sourcing matrix -Foster a cooperative approach in a challenging environment, adapting strategies to dynamic market conditions -Actively engage in risk assessment activities and mitigation strategies to ensure resilience supply chains -Ensure time to market according to overall timeline and driving overall platform cost towards target range -Conduct make/buy analysis, risk mapping, and mitigation strategies to leverage full scope of supply markets and existing partners/suppliers
Responsibility:
-Business Administration (with strong technical background) or Engineering graduate with focus on Mechanics -Tenure 7-10 years in purchasing preferably in the elevator industry -Strong track record in advance/forward purchasing and product development teams -Ability work in a matrix structured organization -Strong communication and social skills paired with a solution-oriented approach -Fluent in English and Chinese. -High level of engagement, flexibility, creativity and reliability -Willingness to travel internationally
