About the job The Regional Sales Manager Paints& Coating (NE Asia) is a member of the global P&C Management Team. This individual will execute on the business strategy, marketing plan, and commercialize new product innovation for the $30mln Asia P&C business. This role will exclusively focus on Paints & Building markets, excluding Asphalt markets. Partnering with cross-functional stakeholders, this position will identify and develop new customers/markets and drive actions which positions the business for short term and long-term success.
In your future role as “ Account Manager” you will
61 Lead a team of direct sales and a Team Lead, totaling 10 people. 61 Develop the next generation of leadership. 61 Active and thoughtful engagement in the P&C Management Team. 61 Grow the business profitably. 61 Implement value pricing to ensure full value of Nouryon’s offering is received. 61 Sets price, owns contracts, and manages customer decisions for the regional organization. 61 Develop strong relationships with customers, distributors, and other stakeholders to grow share of wallet. 61 Establish and build senior-level relationships with key decision makers and buyers at direct customers. 61 Grow the selling project opportunity pipeline, using application science as a key offering. 61 Ensure disciplined management and performance of distribution channels. 61 Demonstrate progress in improving discipline around Demand planning. 61 Utilize marketing plans and value propositions to improve position of technology into chosen markets. 61 Communicate compelling customer and competitor insights back to the Marketing and R&D organizations. We believe you bring
61 Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Marketing, Business Administration, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or Engineering-related discipline. 61 A minimum of 10 years of experience in sales, marketing, technical service, R&D, or product management roles, with preference for experience in the decorative paints or construction chemicals industry. 61 Candidates who have experience working for a decorative paint manufacturer or a construction chemical company are also encouraged to apply. 61 Comfortable working across global cultures. 61 Results oriented. 61 Communication (written & oral) and interpersonal skills. 61 Strong business and financial acumen. 61 Customer negotiations. 61 Business software, such as SAP, CRM, Salesforce, Arkieva, Anaplan. 61 High level of proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint. 61 Fluency in English and Mandarin, other relevant languages a plus.
