Shanghai, China The Supplier QA expertr role is key member of the Global TTH Suppliers and Tollers team and the scope of the work includes the suppliers and third party manufacturers located in the APAC region. Main accountability of the role is to ensure that our suppliers and Tollers are in compliance with the dsm-firmenich supplier quality standards, specific legislation and their facilities will comply with Food safety assessements, external audits and inspections. This role will interact with Procurement, Supply Chain, Product Category managers, Regulatory and the TTH manufacturing sites. Your key responsibilities * Guidance to R&D and Product Management on QA project criteria with regards to SQM, PCQI, stage gates in project management of new suppliers / new products at both F&B production sites and external manufacturers; * Risk Assessment & approval (new) suppliers and (new) materials. Set up and approve quality related documents (e.g. validation, deviations, complaints, audit reports and close-out reports); * Complaint handling (key KPI) and Issue management (including RCA support); * Re-assess (in critical cases by physical audits) suppliers of raw materials / primary packaging food contact materials and logistic service providers; * QA-release of externally manufactured products; * MOC member (QA assurance in change control process); * Periodical performance review suppliers (Ops meetings, annual business reviews & monthly KPI reporting) & continuous PDCA; * Set up and maintain the relevant network with external stakeholders and represent Supplier Quality Management F&B towards external parties on quality topics and issues; * Stay abreast of both internal and external developments with regard to quality related laws, regulations and requirements and all other quality related matters; * Ensure that the QLT is kept informed of quality performance on suppliers and advise site QA managers on critical quality issues that could impact on product quality and/or safety. You bring * 10 years working experience with Quality Management Systems in the food industry, preferably with fermentation (cultures, enzymes). * Lead auditing qualification. * You have a collaborative mindset and are business minded. * You are proactive, a team player but also able to work very well autonomously. * You are fluent in English/ Mandarin both in writing and oral. * You are willing to travel at least 10% of your time.
