Summary: According to the guidance from supervisor, responsible for the CapEx projects execution, including but not limited to study, basic engineering, detailed engineering, construction, commissioning, and start-up, with or without the external resources (depends on the needs), to meet the schedule, cost, quality and compliance requirements. Essential Duties and Responsibilities 61 Project management 89 Develop and prepare project plans, schedules, and budgets 89 Coordinate the work of contractors 89 Prepare reports and progress reviews 89 Cost control & change of management (Be responsible for monitoring project costs, and budgets, implementing cost control measures) 89 Managing project risks, identifying potential impacts, and developing mitigation measures 89 Develop technical bidding documents (if) 61 Communication 89 Regularly communicate with the project stakeholders 89 Manage information exchange, solve technology and engineering issues 89 Coordinate the external resources to provide engineering and technical expertise, manage multiple projects 89 Communicate with cross functional experts and provide leadership in technology and process implementation, and to generate timely, cost-effective, and innovative solutions 61 Technology & Engineering 89 Understand the technology & engineering package, and develop the overviews, block diagrams, draft PFDs, and so on 89 Ensuring the delivery from engineering partner meet the technology and engineering requirements and standards 89 Write a feasibility report for the design project 89 Calculate the material and heat balance of chemical processes 89 Select standardized equipment and design non standardized equipment processes 89 Propose design conditions for chemical equipment, civil engineering, electrical engineering, etc 89 Organize the necessary EHS review during project execution 61 On site management and construction supervision 89 Be responsible for on-site management, ensuring that the construction quality and progress meet the requirements of the drawings, specifications and safety requirements 89 Organize the joint walkdown, and manage the punch list 89 Prepare completion acceptance and settlement documents 61 Permitting 89 Know about the permitting process and requirements 89 Cooperate with the permitting company to develop and prepare the permitting proposal (schedule, cost, risks and measures…) 89 Mornitoring and reporting the permitting progress, to fulfill the project execution requirements Education/Experience/ Qualifications 61 Bachelor degree in Chemical, Industrial or Mechanical Engineering 61 Proven project experience in Chemical industry at least 5~10 years 61 Strong process & enigineering capability 61 Customer ( Internal & External ) oriented, detail oriented, mature with positive attitude, reliable, accountable and well organized 61 Organize and prioritize work in a timely manner and react well under pressure 61 Oral and written communication skills in Chinese and English 61 Candidate can work in Fengxian (Shanghai Chemical Industry Park)
