Objectives of the Position As Lab manager, leading a technical team to support business strategies and targets. Responsible for relevant customization team EHS, administration and people developments; cooperate with other departments to deliver product development, localization, customer approvals and other technical activities and services; participant with other organization in global/regional technology/product development.
Main Areas of Responsibilities and Key Activities -Lead/Manage Lab activities, fulfilling all Company/department level EHS policies and targets. -Lead the team to fulfill all company level compliance requests and other policies and procedures -Responsible for general team’s performance. Lead the team to fulfill capacity, delivery, efficiency and quality targets. -Manage individual subordinates’ performance - Define targets, review and assess the ‘what’ and ‘how’ of results and progress. 61Develop subordinates’ competence and skills. Enhance team members’ technical competence by training and guidance; improve leadership awareness and skills by training, coaching, etc. -Participant/cooperate in global/regional technology development activities. As Lead for Customization Lab, ensure the relevant workstream fulfilling project targets. -Collaborate with TPM / Account Team to define projects and priorities -Lead/Manage the team routine technical activities on Product level as product development, customer approvals, etc. to support the relevant business growth activities. -Lead the team to contribute to the profitability improvement. Fulfill yearly cost saving targets on different levels, lead/trigger/support different level saving activities as localization, consolidation, and formulation optimization, etc. -Lead the team to support other business technical activities as technical services topics, trouble shootings, and other customer requests. -Lead the team to support company level technical activities as quality investigation and improvement, production process optimization, etc. and collaborate with relevant teams. -Lead/cooperate/participant process optimization activities, facilitate lab level/ technical center level and company level process setup, standardization and optimizations; Lead/support LEAN driven projects and activities -Support to develop LEAN champion/Master, Digital Champion and other specialist development -Provide innovative solutions / root-cause analysis on complex technical problems. -Conduct Technical Gate Keeping and implementation from Customization Team for New Technology Introduction. -Conduct professional technical trainings internally and externally. -Other assignment by supervisor.
Job Requirements -Education: Master or above -Working Experience: above 5 years -Technical & Professional Knowledge: Coating technology and application, excellent English skill in written and spoken. Project Management, LEAN, and Digital APP skills preferred.
