The job incumbent independently manages (commercially / technically) innovation projects (managing from basic product concept development to beginning of series production) within the advanced technology group. He/she coordinates all activities in the project within the team and provides expertise to ensure that the projects meet the customer and company requirements.
Main Accountabilities Product Ownership - Manage one or more innovation projects in advanced technology - Establish the project planning and carry out the project controlling with respect to targets, team resources (internal / external), timing, quality and cost - Coordinate and support all activities within the project team to ensure that all required tasks are performed, and all deadlines and targets are met within the product development process. - Evaluate and transfer future market and customer requirements into product and business ideas - Evaluate the product development and feasibility from technical and commercial aspects. - Carry out the necessary research, workshops and project documentation - Inform and escalate appropriately within the team, to manager, stakeholders etc. - Ensure compliance with laws and standards, processes and norms of the M+H Group - Cooperate with internal and external Customers - Prioritize of tasks according to corporate necessities - Monitor relevant market segments and competitor’s products. - Identification and creation of unique selling point & product benefits for digital products Innovation - Show creativity in product and business development and use adequate methods - Facilitate workshops and brainstorming sessions - Monitor market trends and developments; build know-how through contacts with external specialists, universities, research institutes, customers and self-study Team Member Digital Services - Search and drive active communication and information exchange in teams and departments; create team spirit - Create new product ideas for filling the digital innovation pipeline - Support other colleagues actively through creative and professional input - Actively participate in executing the business strategy
Job Requirements - Concluded academic studies in software engineering, engineering management, economics, business administration, business engineering or comparable - Strong focus on innovation, willingness to take ownership and learn/adapt to new technologies - Agile mindset, adapting to new conditions, open for new contacts and ideas - Fluent English + Chinese language skills, German or other language skill is a plus - Good communication skills and ability to work in team - Willingness to travel - Project management expertise in system development and integration, experience with product launch and continuous integration & delivery - Good know-how of Digital products and Service design
