Senior Application Technologist, process meat - Your Future Position?
As a Senior Application Technologist in our Taste & Wellbeing Division, you will report to the Application Head – Savory. Your role involves delivering the best possible solutions, innovative products, evaluation samples, technical support and recommendations to customers. You will also need to support local sales and business development initiatives. Additionally, you will manage all projects allocated to your work queue with a special Focus on supporting the Savory segments. Sound interesting? It could well be your good opportunity. In this exciting role you will: 61 Manage the commercial project pipeline in your work queue. On time and high quality solution completion of projects based on the brief 61 Participate in presentations and project work for customers 61 Support Creation in the application of new trials 61 Participate in tasting sessions 61 Prepare flavoured food products for customer presentations 61 Run pilot scale lab equipment for production of prototypes 61 Evaluate flavours in applications and capture comments in appropriate system 61 Pro-actively monitor flavour performance and stability in food products 61 Select optimal flavours for projects according to specified requirements (i.e., customer, regulatory, legislation, technical, costs) 61 Manage computerised flavour data and recipe documentation for food products 61 Document and report results 61 Participate in running flavour application training courses 61 Provide support and exchange information with other Givaudan colleagues 61 Manage lab facilities, keep lab clean with all ingredients in stock ready for use with adequate expiry dates

Your professional profile includes: 61 College/University Degree or equivalent, with major in Food Engineering, Food Science, Food Technology, Food Chemistry or Bio-Chemistry 61 Minimum 8 years’ experience in food product development or manufacturing in relevant industry segment; experience in process meat industrial is preferred. 61 Proficient in operating pilot food processing equipment 61 Good written and verbal communications skills 61 Written and verbal command of English 61 Proficiency in common PC Applications (MS Word, Excel, Access) 61 Ability to operate lab equipment 61 Demonstrates solid sensory skills
