JOB PURPOSE: - Coordinate the SGCI's financial operations, analyze financial data, monitor expenditure, prepare financial statements and ensure compliance with policies and regulations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: - Prepare and analyze financial reports and statements, and coordinate with the Finance SSC for the monthly Statutory and Group reporting. - Ensure the accuracy and reliability of financial transactions and statements in accordance with Group standards and accounting procedures, including IFRS. - Coordinate the budgeting and forecasting processes in collaboration with other departments. - Provide management with explanations of results, budget variances, and prior year comparisons monthly. - Analyze financial KPIs to support management decision-making, propose and monitor the implementation of action plans. - Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to enhance and maintain robust internal controls. - Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and support digital transformation initiatives. - Assist APAC countries with the interpretation of Group standards, IFRS and the accounting treatments. - Oversee and coordinate APAC countries statutory audit processes to ensure compliance and accuracy. - Perform ad-hoc tasks and projects as assigned.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS - Typical Education Level: Bachelor’s degree and above,CPA/ACCA is a must - Relevant experience, knowledge and skills: 3+ years’ experience in Big 4 audit department Proficient in IFRS and accounting standards and experience with Big 4 technical department is a plus Above expectation performance in Big 4 Good communication and English skill Proficient in financial digital tools and office applications KEY COMPETENCIES AND ATTRIBUTES Communication & Collaboration Time Management Customer Oriented Agility Project Management Influence Change Management Empathy & Stress Management Structured Thinking
