Main accountabilities and tasks 1. Develop and implement business development strategies to achieve company goals. 2. Lead efforts to acquire new clients and maintain relationships with existing ones. 3. Conduct in-depth market analysis to identify growth opportunities and competitive threats. 4. Manage large sales contracts and external partnership agreements. 5. Establish and manage strategic partnerships and alliances. 6. Monitor and report on business development performance metrics. 7. Work closely with other departments (e.g., sales, marketing, product) to drive business growth. 8. Identify and develop new business opportunities in the field of chemicals & fuels from renewables & circular feedstocks. 9. Represent company at conferences, trade fairs and networking events
Desired experience and qualifications Work experience: >9 years Expertise (e.g. professional, technical): Profound experience in developing early-stage customers into partners and/or developing these into sales projects, market development and application/portfolio management. Solid experience with working cross-functional and multicultural teams in sales, applications/product and/or business development. >5-7 years as technical sales manager, market/business development manager in the field of process solutions for bio-chemicals and/or bio-fuels and/or renewable/circular industries. Education: Level: Master Subject: Chemical Engineering Certifications: Languages: English, + any other languages Soft skills: Technical and business savvy, team player, good communication skills
