Job Responsibilities: Overall accountability and responsibility for Boehringer's areas of security, under the capabilities of Asset Protection, People Protection and Enterprise Resilience within TCM ROPU, with expertise in Crisis Management and BCM. - Provide leadership to Great China Security and Crisis Management operations and responsible for integrating the security function across all business units, aligning with overall business objectives. - Establish and maintain relationships with all business leaders, auditor and partner to understand requirements and concerns related to Security & Crisis Management and regulatory compliance, and to map those requirements to current security management practices. - Provide professional information, advice and consultancy on all aspects of security to regional management and staff in general. - Responsible for organizational and staff development, performance management and leadership to direct and indirect reports to support key department initiatives. - Responsible for successful implementation, maintenance, and further development of Boehringer Ingelheim’s crisis management and BCM systems in order to ensure Boehringer Ingelheim is prepared, able to respond and to recover from crisis situations. - Develops relationships with high-level officials within the law enforcement community, governmental security agencies as well as private sector counterparts. - Assists in the development and management of annual budget planning to support overall business strategies. - Communication with senior management through regularly scheduled meetings and updates with key stakeholders, including senior management, to ensure alignment on security and crisis management strategies. Job Requirements: - Minimum Education/Degree Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in Security, Risk or Crisis Management or similar studies. - Language: Bilingual in English & Mandarin is compulsory - More than 10 years of security AND Crisis Management experience - Significant leadership experience. Presence, demonstrated ability to work in a matrix environment, and ability to influence at all levels. - Subject Matter expert for Crisis Management with operation knowledge. - Certifications in the area of Security, Risk or Crisis Management preferred. - Ability to work with all level of management, including regional leadership, key external organizations or governmental bodies within Business, sub-region, or country. - Ability to communicate objectives, plans, status and results clearly, focusing on critical few key points - Ability to work under very high stress from sudden extremely complex crisis situations. Also, be able to work with great China leadership members in such extreme conditions.
