Job Description: A. Support local IT Helpdesk: 1. Provide 1st level technical support for local employees in China. Respond to and resolve a wide range of IT - related issues, including but not limited to software installation, hardware troubleshooting, network connectivity problems, and email - related issues. 2. Work in global ticket system, ensuring that all requests from local user are logged, tracked, and resolved in a timely manner. Monitor and report on service desk performance metrics, such as average response time and resolution time. 3. Train and mentor junior IT engineers to enhance their technical skills and customer service capabilities.
B. Local IT Technology and Operation: 1. Design, implement, and maintain the local IT technology infrastructure, including servers, desktops, laptops, printers, and network devices. Ensure the stability, security, and performance of the local IT environment. 2. Develop and enforce local IT policies and procedures, such as data backup and recovery, security access control. 3. Coordinate with global IT teams for software upgrades, system patches, and new technology implementations. Ensure that local systems are in compliance with global IT standards. 4. Conduct regular IT asset management, including inventory control and disposal of IT equipment.
C. Cluster Asia Region IT Interface: 1. As the role progresses, take on more leadership responsibilities within the Asia Region IT team and global IT team. Plan, organize, and lead IT projects and initiatives in the region. 2. Serve as the primary point of contact between region and global IT teams. Facilitate communication, ensuring that global IT strategies and requirements are effectively communicated and implemented locally, and that local IT issues and feedback are promptly reported to the global team.
Job Requirements: 1. Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. A master's degree is a plus. 2. Minimum of 8 years of experience in IT support, infrastructure management, or a related role. Experience in a multinational company environment is highly preferred. 3. Fluent English in both oral and written. 4. Great knowledge of Microsoft O365, Windows Server, Azure Cloud, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policies and basic knowledge of network infrastructure. 5. Be familiar with Virtual Technology. 6. Sufficient knowledge of IT activities, including Microsoft Windows Operating Systems, networking etc. 7. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. 8. Excellence in handling multiple tasks and work well under pressure. Sense of both urgency and thoroughness. 9. Professional, positive, and energetic attitude.
