Key Accounts & Business Development Manager – Strategic Partnership (based in Shanghai) Main tasks 61 Assist the Head of Greater China in executing long-term strategies to meet and exceed revenue and profitability targets - Research, identify, and develop a robust pipeline of strategic partnerships with relevant brands in vital sectors like iconic/industry leaders, arts, education, entertainment, and other culturally significant brands - Lead engagement and partnership development with key strategic corporate customers, driving joint business planning - Act as a project manager, responsible for evaluating, negotiating, and closing deals, as well as drafting and executing contracts in collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders, including R&D, legal, product management, regulatory, and quality teams - Maintain client database information and manage sales funnel/pipeline and project reporting using Salesforce CRM - Prepare regular business reviews, forecasts, and presentations supported by comprehensive data analysis - Conduct thorough market analysis to identify emerging trends, competitive landscapes, and potential partners to accelerate business growth - Collaborate on key projects with headquarters and the APAC region
Requested skills - Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Strategic Partnership Key Account Manager with premium brands, demonstrating strong client and agency relationships - Proven experience in A-Brand management, marketing, or licensing, with the ability to enhance brand storytelling and partnership narratives - Established network in the educational, arts, culture, or top brand sectors is a plus - Familiarity with various sales channels (retail, e-commerce, wholesale) and business models - Strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to create long term partnerships and manage relationships with C-Level up to CEO - Ability to manage different layers of a business model for successful partnerships across various channels - Strong negotiation and conceptual selling skills. - Proven project management capabilities, working synergistically with various internal departments (R&D, Operations, Finance, Logistics, etc.) - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Salesforce CRM - Willingness to drive business turnaround initiatives and flexibility to travel within the market as needed - Fluent in both written and spoken English and Mandarin
