JOB PURPOSE Support local research and development of new products, evaluate and introduce potential chemical resources, supplier management and evaluation, participate in customized procurement strategy and plan, procurement execution, cost management and optimization, second source development, etc. JOB EXPECTATIONS 1. Develop and maintain long-lasting strategic relationship with a dynamic supplier base by jointly establishing and developing supply factors that determine costs consistent with quality, reliability, dependability, and capacity to meet timelines 2. Drive business efficiencies by streamlining and augmenting the supplier base by managing supplier selection, alternative sourcing strategies, and leveraging supplier consolidation to positively impact quality, cost, and reliability 3. Drive quality withing the supplier base by maintaining key supplier score cards, corrective action requests (SCARs), evaluating new suppliers, and conducting and documenting key supplier audits 4. Maintain adherence to Hanarey procurement specifications and source control drawings by driving zero defect conformance within the supplier base, and by applying root cause analyses to reduce nonconformances thus ensuring continuity of supply 5. Manage approval and disqualification of suppliers by periodically reviewing performance metrics, identifying areas for development, and implementing action plans for suppliers to keep their approved status 6. Manage new raw material request and second source request by interacting with local supplier, R&D, EHS, Quality, Procurement, and global Supply Chain team to ensure new raw request / second source process execute smoothly. 7. Drive process standardization and continuous improvements by facilitating compliance audits that review supplier QMS procedures, identifying areas for improvement, and managing alignment with ISO, IATF, and Hanarey quality standards 8. Ensure quality standards of incoming parts and materials are consistently met by interacting with Henares’s Materials Review Board to identify and quarantine nonconforming products, and by facilitating timely return-to-vendor processes 9. Procurement strategy development and implementation: 1) Participate in the development of the company's procurement strategy to ensure that procurement activities are in line with the company's strategic objectives and business needs. 2) Implement purchasing strategy, including purchase order placement, follow-up, delivery control, etc., to ensure the efficient operation of the process. 10. Purchase order management and delivery control 1) Responsible for making and confirming purchase orders, arranging delivery and tracking arrival date to ensure delivery on time and in quantity。 2) Handle material purchase and material arrival anomalies, timely solve the problems in the procurement process, and ensure the smooth progress of production.
QUALIFICATIONS Education Bachelor’s degree with concentration in Supply Chain (Procurement) / Business Administration / Chemical Industry or its equivalent Certifications APICS and ASQ credentials; familiarity with ISO and IATF standardizations Software Skills Proficiency with ERP systems critical, JDE Edwards E-1 highly desirable Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite Power BI is a plus Other Skills Fluent in both written and spoken in English.
