Position Overview: We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Sourcing Project Manager to oversee the procurement and sourcing of small hardware parts (e.g., screws, bolts, hinges, fasteners). The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in supply chain management, vendor relations, and project management, with a focus on sourcing quality components at competitive prices. You will be responsible for managing the end-to-end sourcing process, ensuring timely delivery, and optimizing cost efficiency. Key Responsibilities: 61 Lead and manage the sourcing of small hardware parts for multiple projects and product lines. 61 Develop and maintain relationships with domestic and international suppliers to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery. 61 Collaborate with product development teams, engineers, and other departments to ensure the right components are sourced based on project specifications and timelines. 61 Conduct market research to identify new suppliers, analyze pricing trends, and negotiate contracts. 61 Monitor inventory levels and ensure the continuity of supply while managing potential risks such as stockouts or delays. 61 Track and report on sourcing and procurement performance, including cost savings, lead times, and quality issues. 61 Coordinate product testing and quality assurance procedures with suppliers and internal teams. 61 Manage supplier contracts, ensuring compliance with agreed terms, delivery schedules, and quality standards. 61 Drive cost optimization strategies without compromising on quality. 61 Prepare and manage procurement budgets, forecast requirements, and keep the project on budget. 61 Troubleshoot and resolve sourcing issues that may arise during the product development or production stages. Qualifications & Skills: 61 Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or related field. 61 5+ years of experience in sourcing, procurement, or project management, with a focus on small hardware parts or mechanical components. 61 Strong knowledge of the global supply chain, particularly in sourcing hardware, fasteners, and related products. 61 Excellent negotiation skills and experience with international suppliers and manufacturers. 61 Proven ability to manage multiple sourcing projects simultaneously, from initiation to completion. 61 Strong analytical skills, with the ability to assess supplier performance, costs, and risks. 61 Proficient in project management tools and procurement software. 61 Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally. 61 Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
