This role will provide leadership and compliance support for INVISTA’s Asia Pacific base business, key strategies and advance INVISTA’s culture and compliance performance
Your job: 61 Act as the local champion of a strong compliance culture in the Asia Pacific region through direct and honest communication and holding the businesses/capabilities accountable for their actions to drive and improve compliance performance/results 61 Identify and communicate compliance risks present in the regional base businesses/capabilities, and develop risk differentiated strategies to drive appropriate risk prioritization and management, e.g. antitrust, anti-corruption, government interaction, Third Party Oversight, Intellectual Property, Data Privacy, Cybersecurity and International Trade Compliance 61 Proactively engage with the businesses/capabilities to build organizational compliance knowledge and capability; understand activities creating risk; recommend, develop and ensure application of risk appropriate controls. 61 Drive innovation to improve programs, methods and processes to maximize value; be a catalyst for transformation 61 Lead/support regional investigations as required to promptly identify facts and resolve allegations; support business in developing and executing appropriate corrective actions and resolution strategies 61 Regional review for counterparty due diligence result done by global compliance SME to assess risk, identify and resolve red flags in coordination with business and other compliance leaders 61 Conduct live training to AP employees and Third Parties, as appropriate to help ensure expectations are understood and risk is appropriately managed (e.g. anti-corruption, government interactions, etc.) 61 Identify and analyze emerging issues and trends including new regulatory changes in compliance subject matter areas for applicability to the businesses/functional groups; bring forward recommendations and contribute to development and application of appropriate controls
What You Will Need: Basic Qualifications 61 Bachelor’s degree or 8+ years of overall professional experience 61 5+ years of experience in a compliance role or has a strong understanding of compliance requirements in current role 61 Commitment to Integrity, strong ethical behavior & compliance to all applicable laws 61 Strong alignment of virtues with our Principle Based Management (PBM®) values 61 Strong project management, analytical, organizational and critical thinking skills with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment 61 Proven ability in strategy development and the ability to assess, implement and improve organizational processes 61 Fluent in both Chinese and English both written and verbal skills is essential 61 Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills 61 High level of motivation, sense of personal accountability and ability to work collaboratively and independently 61 Excellent customer focus coupled with good economic thinking skills 61 Demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Office programs including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Teams 61 Domestic and international travel (less than 10%)
