We, Acropolis Associates, are retained by one of our clients, a foreign company acting as a premium European syrup brand manufacturer renowned in over 84 countries for its exceptional quality and delightful flavors, especially esteemed in coffee shops and cocktail bars worldwide, to find an energetic & ambitious skilled Regional Sales Manager based in Shanghai to join our dynamic team and drive the growth of our China business. You will be in charge of Eastern & Western China.

Industry requirements: Food & beverage industry (Syrup, fruits and juice, coffee, chocolate, milk, wine etc.)

Reporting line: Sales Director

Work location: Shanghai

Your Responsibilities:
1.Develop and execute Sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and expand market share.

2.Building strong relationships with existing and new resellers in your regions.

3.Identifying and acquiring new customers (resellers & end-users), as well as up-selling to the existing customer base across your assigned regions.

4.Effectively managing and driving the sales cycle from prospection through to successful closure, in close collaboration with R&D and Marketing team when necessary.

5.Gain deep understanding of customer needs, identify opportunities, and develop tailored solutions to meet their specific requirements.

6.Prepare regular reports and conducting weekly meetings to review performance.

7.Analyzing market trends and competitors’ activities in region

Job Requirements:
1. College’s degree in marketing, communication, business, sciences or a related field, Bachelor’s or Master’s degree is an advantage.

2. Basic in spoken English, advanced English communication skills in written.

3. At least 5 years of sales or business management experience in the F&B industry, with a proven track record of success working with chain customers.

4.Good network and record of success with resellers + LKA/NKA in our industry (coffee chains, tea chains, etc). Ideally worked for competitors or products used by same end-users (syrups, purees, milk, etc).

5.Solid knowledge and experience in Beverage industry products & players, with the ability to prospect and manage senior level relationships.

6.Successful personal track record within prior sales or business development experience.

7.Highly goal-oriented & solution-oriented, with excellent communication & interpersonal skills.

8.Good understanding of consumers profile & process, while being brand sensitive.

9.Strong interpersonal skills and sales skills including closing skills, motivation for sales, prospecting, planning, selling to customer needs.

10.Professional and positive approach, self-motivated, strong in building relationships. Pro-active mindset and ability to work independently, as well as being part of a team.

11.Strong analytical, planning, and organizational skills.

12.‘Start-up mindset’.

13.Energetic, ambitious.

14.Able to travel weekly in the Eastern & Western of China
