ROLE PURPOSE A highly experienced and strategic Supply Chain Management Director with over 10 years of experience in optimizing supply chain operations, driving efficiency, and leading cross-functional teams. Expert in logistics, purchasing, planning, inventory management, and supplier relationship management. Proven track record of implementing innovative solutions that enhance operational efficiency, reduce costs, and improve customer satisfaction.
ACCOUNTABILITIES 1) Develop and implement comprehensive supply chain strategies aligned with the company’s business goals. 2) Oversee purchasing processes, ensuring cost-effectiveness and quality standards. 3) Manage logistics, including transportation, warehousing, and distribution to ensure timely delivery of products in China and further in Asia. 4) Optimize inventory management to balance cost and availability. 5) Lead and mentor a team of supply chain professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement. 6) Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and key stakeholders. 7) Implement and utilize technology solutions to enhance supply chain operations. 8) Monitor and analyze supply chain performance metrics, making data-driven decisions to improve efficiency. 9) Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
Requirements on knowledge & skills: At least 10-15 years related working experience in manufacturing branch.
Knowledge: 1) Bachelor/master’s degree in engineering major likes mechanical engineering, industry engineering, etc. 2) Very good English (or German) in writing and speaking should be a must. 3) Management experience as team leader/manager will be advantage. 4) Familiar with the SAP system or similar ERP systems.
