Job Responsibilities 61 Identify and commercialize opportunities in the APAC – focus China – T&L Market o PSA product line management, screen current product line, developing the new application for specified market with high-added value. o Release coating product line, High value release coatings (next level to masking tape release), defining next generation product requirements for release coatings & new application/market, (thermal transfer inkjet printing. Writable kraft tape etc...) o Tackifier as the part of formulated adhesive (coater-ready) with our base polymer to supply total solution o Binder for ink & top coating, new market development based on current company product line to develop new market o Developing in-depth application know-how in target market segments o Compounding for sealant, more focus on CJ product line to develop more application in non-PSA industry (needed but out of scope for this position) 61 Execute AS Growth Strategy in APAC with focus on T&L and EP o Defining gaps in our market knowledge and capabilities, such as Supply chain, competitive players and market pricing, local product line in APAC, marketing know-how & application o Defining Market Trends where change is happening & where higher margins are possible 84 E.g. Ex : solvent replacement. 61 Time scale of pressure on customer base? 61 Which end markets are impacted ***? 61 What do we need to do to be in the forefront of offerings? o Developing and implementing the region growth strategies, manage the milestone achievement driving defined projects o Developing new market/application base on cross selling among segment with our company variety product line and work with cross functional team to drive short/mid-term solution o To support & work with OIT function in CIC with R&D focusing in developing and supporting partnership and localization projects (incl. local compounding capability) 84 Work with global product manager, OIT, technical and sales team to define portfolio and setup / design 61 Grow revenue, volumes and margins for AS in APAC T&L market focusing on China and EP. Develop sales tools for new markets/applications. Train and support sales team to multiply opportunities under the targeted industry/ application/ account with defined products for full commercialization o Scouting, identifying, prioritizing and commercializing as well as expanding our opportunity pipeline o Collaborating with sales teams, GBD and KAM for optimum commercial leverage
