The successful applicant will be required to: 1. Complete Market Survey and establish Purchasing Strategy for your assigned commodities 2. Based on the marker survey to recommend the right supplier for the commodity. Go through the supplier screening process for potential supplier on board. 3. Issue RFI (Request for Information)/RFQ (Request for Quotation) packages to select suppliers and ensure timely response from suppliers, according to the Purchasing Strategy. Make sure work closely with cross functions to finish the sourcing work in time. 4. Initial review of robustness of quote from suppliers, review and assist in negotiations of best-in-class piece price and vendor tooling costs 5. Support finance and business office about cost saving from PP side (Production Purchasing) 6. Support SQE (Supplier Quality Engineer) function in areas including supplier site evaluation and qualification process of suppliers 7. Support PE (Product Engineering) function as and when required in evaluating potential suppliers and providing an interface between supplier and PE teams 8. Presentation of key supplier data to support PUR, SQE & PE sourcing decisions, such as quality performance, level of quality accreditation, technology/process capability and Design Development capability 9. Support sourcing activities for service parts 10. Supplier relationship management to keep good cooperation relationship with supplier 12. Responsible for yearly cost reduction and supporting team target of VAVE 13. Support sales team and FIN to understand the cost structure internally 13.To complete others related customer requirements
Essential Qualifications & Experience 61 Bachelor’s degree required. 61 The ability to work under pressure with minimal supervision when necessary to deliver key objectives. Must have a record of proactive delivery and commitment to meet deadlines. 61 Strong communication skills, Team player and facilitator, Personnel Management Skills. Presentation skills. Fluency in English and Mandarin 61 Computer skill (Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Project) 61 Self-Motivated.
Preferable Qualifications & Experience 61 Automotive industry working experience (5+ years), Direct procurement background with multinational company. 61 Commercial acumen and communication experience.
