This position is part of the ICT (Industrial & Commercial Transportation) Integrated Operation organization. The candidate will work cross-functionally to drive multi-year strategies and accelerate business improvement opportunities within the supply base including strategic and tactical initiatives. The candidate will work across the Integrated Operation & Supply Chain team to address gaps and provide solutions for critical commodity. Critical to this role will be exceeding established goals in inventory, productivity, quality and delivery.
Responsibilities: 61 Work with the supplier quality, engineering and supply chain functions to develop these suppliers to support ICT requirements. 61 Achieve critical annual procurement KPIs (Delivery, quality, productivity, Inventory, low cost localization, payment terms, VMI, lead-time reduction, others). 61 Drive VA/VE activities with engineering, quality and suppliers to achieve cost reductions and quality improvements. 61 Support the TEOA-P initiatives and Star Level attainment for the region and business unit. 61 Assure results are delivered compliant with TE policies and procedures. 61 Provide timely and complete responses to various corporate, segment, business unit and functional support requirements 61 Foster an environment of open collaboration with all functions of ICT as may be required to advance operations and Integrated Supply Chain performance.
Qualifications: 61 Demonstrate track record that demonstrates ability to achieve desired results 61 Strong people & organizational leadership skills. Person of true convictions, willing to stand up for those convictions; able to communicate, reinforce and coach/counsel others on those convictions, unafraid of change / improvement. 61 Strong knowledge at Mold, Die, Molding & Stamping area, Understand the cost structure and MFG process 61 Business acumen, strong communication and negotiation skills, leadership, creative, presentation skills, patient, influencing skills, results driven, action oriented, comfortable with ambiguity 61 Show a track record of achieving critical annual KPIs (delivery, quality, productivity, inventory) and driving improvement in leading indicators (TEBIT pipeline, parts on contract/VMI, etc.) 61 Minimum of Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering or Supply Chain. Masters is preferred 61 At least 3-5 years of relevant Supply Chain/Procurement/MFG experience 61 Strong understanding of operational issues (Kanban, JIT, Kaizen, 5S, VA / VE, Lean) 61 Travel up to 10-25% of time 61 SAP experience
