Job Overview: To develop marketing strategy and plan, manage all marketing matters including marketing/e-marketing, event planning, retail marketing, work closely with PR, digital and CRM/eCRM team,branding, product launch plan and competitor analysis to enhance brand building and increase brand awareness in PORTS 1961 store.
· Marketing Calendar Development and Program Plan: - Develop a marketing/e-marketing calendar aligned to the China marketing strategy, E-commerce, merchandising and retail/sales teams to achieve objectives. - Consolidate and create an overarching brand business calendar to include marketing, e-marketing, e-commerce, merchandise, retail/sales to ensure all objectives are aligned. - Prepare BTL programs and budget planning - Co-ordinate marketing programs between the office, retail shops and Tmall shop. - Manage marketing tools for marketing programs for retail shops and Tmall - Evaluate, negotiate and manage sponsorship and joint promotion opportunities
· Retail Marketing Plan and Marketing Tools Development: - Manage outdoor advertisement plan and execution - Utilize the resources of shopping malls, such as WeChat, Weibo, leaflet, website, pos of shopping malls, to get more brand/product exposure by liaising closely with shopping malls. - Manage the requests raised by shopping malls to cater for the needs of shopping malls. - Manage the marketing tools ordering, allocation and delivery to retail shops and E-Commerce - Manage production houses to ensure that the results delivered are in compliance with group standards.
· E-Marketing Plan and Content Marketing Development:
- Develop content marketing aligned with E-Commerce team for Tmall and liaise with Tmall and TP agency to deliver the content to increase engagement with target consumers. - Utilize marketing resources to drive the traffic to Tmall - Identify the collaboration opportunities with Tmall and develop the marketing campaign plan - Post campaign analysis reports to improve on key learnings and report back to business - Work closely with Ports International team and generate regular analysis report
· Event Plan and Management: - Develop and implement an event calendar - Identify and explore collaborative projects with the media. - Work closely with Ports International team on creation, performance proposal, launch moment proposal, gift proposal, event rundown, onsite schedule, check list, rendering for press event to make sure the whole event goes smoothly and successfully. Examples include press presentation, and press gathering. - Manage the quality of all events by monitoring the operational details
· Market Intelligence Report and Competitors Report: - Produce regular market intelligence, including market trends, and popular activities, etc. - Prepare market studies on competitors’ successful cases - Prepare competitor monthly reports for management review
· Budget Management: - Source, evaluate, recommend and manage various suppliers to ensure that needs and objectives are effectively achieved at the best possible price. - Up-to-date tracking the expenditure and accruals with supporting documents - ROI review and monitor
Requirements & Capabilities:
- Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 10 years of experience in marketing management; capacity in a related business or brand, international luxury fashion or design brand experience is desirable. - Strong planning ability, familiarity with various types of marketing/e-marketing, and event relevant tasks; and successful experience in promoting large-scale market activities. - Team player & collaborative approach with the ability to manage cross-functional relationships across multiple levels & influence business decisions with internal & external partners. - Strong analytical & computer skills (MS Office) are compulsory. - Fluent in English
