Position: Specialist, Digital Transformation (Snr. Assoc. ~ VP, CBG)
Job Objective Support CBG China assets and liabilities business for sustainable growth and healthy development in line with Group’s overall balance sheet growth strategy. Manage, implement and measure success of organizational transformation for Consumer Assets & Liabilities Management performance cells in accordance with Group’s Horizontal Organization / Managing through Journey framework. Lead change management through PRIDE values, effective communication, coordination, influence and motivation to achieve remarkable business goals and corporate objectives.
Principal Responsibilities - Research and keep abreast of consumer finance market trends and regulatory changes to highlight business opportunities and risks. - Strong grasp of business financials to measure progress, analyze impact due to changing market, business and regulatory factors, simulate performance for budgeting and business forecast in close partnership with Finance/BUC. - Analyze business data and metrics to effectively showcase business strategy and execution results, thereby providing recommendations to improve business outcomes. - Be the champion of change management and liaise with Group and Country stakeholders on cultural shift and transformation towards HO / Managing through Journey (MtJ) directives. - Support CALM performance cell leads in managing the HO as subject matter expert on DDOM, MtJ process, experimentation methodology etc.
Job Dimensions - Support delivery of Net Interest Income target & goals for CBG China. - Actively engage stakeholders to lead and coordinate transformation of CALM performance cells. - Effective and timely delivery of business review requirements, budget and forecast materials. - Ensure alignment with Group & DBS China’s strategy and planning expectations / requirements.
Education and Relevant Experience - Degree holders. - Over 8 years consumer banking working experience. - Experience in management reporting and change management a plus.
Functional / Technical Competencies - Strategic thinking and able to share/align to DBS’s vision of B3W, HO, MtJ. - Ability to embrace data-driven culture and apply skills in digital business landscape. - Knowledge of assets and liabilities products balanced with keen risk management mindset. - Excellent communication, coordination and influencing skills. - Strong change agent with high degree of adaptability. - Proficient in English and Chinese, Microsoft Office tools.
