Inspect and test mechanical components, PCBA assemblies, and raw materials for compliance with drawings and specifications. Thus based on received measurement reports and material certificates (physical tests will not be conducted).
Maintain and calibrate testing equipment to ensure accurate measurements.
Document and report defects or discrepancies found during inspections.
Collaborate with production teams to implement corrective actions and improve processes.
Develop and enforce quality control procedures and standards.
Perform root cause analysis on quality issues and recommend improvements.
Ensure adherence to industry standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
Conduct functional checks and mechanical completion inspections.
Monitor the production process to maintain consistent quality standards.
Qualifications A degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field from a college or professional school.
2–5 years of experience in quality control within a manufacturing environment.
Proficiency in reading and interpreting mechanical drawings, blueprints, and technical documents (in English).
Knowledge of quality control methodologies, including ISO 9000 series standards.
Familiarity with testing tools such as calipers, micrometers.
Knowledge of reading and understanding of CMM (XYZ) reports
Skills Strong analytical skills for root cause analysis.
Attention to detail for precise inspections.
Effective communication skills for reporting findings and collaborating with teams, including in English.
Problem-solving abilities to address defects or process inefficiencies.
Organizational skills to manage multiple inspections and maintain detailed records.
Certifications (Optional but Advantageous)
IPC certifications (e.g., IPC A 610).
CQI certification or equivalent.
Additional certifications in Quality Inspection or Non-destructive Testing (NDT).
