Responsibilities: 1. Reporting / Accounting -Monthly end Closing & Group Reporting: Supervision/review of month end closing for the Great China. -Statutory Compliance: Supervision/review of statutory financial statement preparation of the Great China, coordination with auditors for yearly statutory audit. -Accounting: Ensuring complete accuracy/reliability in accounting including consistency in accounting practices/ process to Group/APAC/local statutory accounting rules.
2. Treasury Management -Ensuring fund management/planning and fund availability based on forecast from business controlling team. -Post implementation maintenance of treasury management system. -Coordination with bankers for finalization of interest rate, Banks guarantees and other relevant matters.
3. Taxation -Responsible for overall Tax compliance for the Great China. -Monthly reporting of statutory compliances per entity [Income tax, withholding tax, GST, annual filing/ audit] -Coordination with Tax agents in all countries to ensure required data is provided to tax agents/ consultants and timely compliance done. -Coordinate with Tax consultants for managing the tax litigation and take required action with financial controller on litigation. -Ensure compliance of Transfer pricing compliance and yearly documentation with consultant and HQ/APAC team.
4.Operation -Oversee the day-to-day financial and accounting operations of all legal entities. -Work closely with operations (sales administration, business managers, HQ/Asia management and other relevant stakeholders) -Responsible for building and managing streamlined financial systems -Manage and review inter-company reconciliation and confirmation -Make and implement recommendations to improve accounting processes and procedures -Perform any ad hoc tasks required by management -Assist to provide relevant information in the budgeting, financial forecasting and cash flow management
5.Management -Organize team members priorities & task according to group & statutory priorities -Ensure segregation of duties -Manage skill level & growth of his team members -Provide guidance and training to all accounting teams
Requirements: -Degree in Accountancy or ACCA/CPA/CA or equivalent. -Minimum 10-12 years of accounting experience with Managerial experience of at least 4-5 years. -Prior experience in MNC environment will be highly advantageous. -SAP B1 experience will be preferred -Experience in managing multiple countries will be preferred. -Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
