#### **Job Summary**: The Sports Lighting Sales Manager is responsible for driving sales growth and expanding market share in the sports lighting sector. This role involves developing strategic partnerships, identifying new business opportunities, and promoting high-performance lighting solutions for stadiums, arenas, training facilities, and outdoor sports venues. The ideal candidate will have strong industry knowledge, excellent negotiation skills, and a proven track record in B2B sales within the lighting or sports infrastructure market.
#### **Key Responsibilities**: - Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets in the sports lighting segment. - Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, including sports facility operators, contractors, architects, and government agencies. - Identify and pursue new business opportunities through market research, networking, and proactive outreach. - Collaborate with technical teams to design customized lighting solutions that meet client requirements (e.g., illumination standards, energy efficiency, smart controls). - Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations, proposals, and contract negotiations. - Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies (e.g., LED, IoT-integrated systems). - Attend trade shows, conferences, and industry events to promote products and expand professional networks. - Work closely with marketing to develop targeted campaigns, case studies, and promotional materials. - Provide post-sale support to ensure customer satisfaction and foster long-term partnerships. - Analyze sales data and market feedback to refine strategies and report progress to senior management.
#### **Qualifications & Skills**: - Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field. - 5+ years of sales experience, preferably in lighting, electrical products, or sports infrastructure. - Deep understanding of sports lighting standards (e.g., FIFA, World Athletics, EN 12193). - Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills. - Ability to travel as needed to meet clients and attend events. - Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and Microsoft Office Suite.
#### **Preferred**: - Familiarity with lighting design software (DIALux, Relux) or photometric analysis. - Existing network in the sports/construction industry.
