Working in Consumer Business Group to develop new products and product platforms for Thermal Insulation Portfolio
Interact with application engineer/business/customers to identify new product opportunities
Work with cross-functional team on driving new product commercialization by verifying product performance, validating manufacturing process, and setting material specification
Apply disciplined project practices to prioritize, execute, and document your work
Communicating with Business team and Global laboratory and developing strong working partnerships/networks for key technical input and related activities
Initiating and contributing to the development of Intellectual Property and IP strategies
Your Skills and Expertise
To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M is looking for candidates who have the following qualifications:
Master or advanced degree in engineering or science (material, textile/non-woven, polymer, etc.) with a minimum of 3 years new product development experience
Demonstrated ability to design experiments, statistically analyze test results, make data-driven decisions, and deliver project results aiming at on-time in-full (OTIF)
Experience in thermal insulation product categories or related application or process of non-woven or textile materials as a plus
Collaborative interpersonal style with experience in leading projects
Excellent technical presentation and communication skills with fluent English in written and spoken
