Quality Assurance –
- check facility audits and check production status of existing orders
- work with factories for emergency situations(perfect testing samples, urgent quality problems, delivery issues, etc…)
- Work with factories to monitor results of inline and final inspections
- Work with NYO and Issue final decisions to China offices on pending and hold results for inline and final inspections
- Perform quality checks on products receiving from China at various stages of the production process
- Perform spot check finished goods inspections on products shipping to usa
- Perform qc checks on samples brought to PRO office
- Review fabric and material qualities with production dept upon request
Testing
- Work with BV, STS, SGS, ICQ, ITS, and STR labs in China to arrange proper testing protocols for all products
- Review with production for all testing and quality assurance questions and concerns including sample review
- Perform label reviews for Production on all products(CARB, Law labels, content and care labels, legal labels, warning labels etc…)
- Coordinate with INI China offices and testing labs to monitor the testing process for all products that require testing at all stages
- Monitor testing results from all labs, review reports and provide to Production dept for saving on the shared drive
- Review Certificates of Conformity when provided by Production dept for accuracy
- For all failure results, work with factories to review and provide corrected samples to lab for retesting
- Work with Labs regarding questions or issues arising from reviewing test reports
- Monitor Government and Lab websites for all applicable updates and additions to testing protocols for INI products and attend all pertinent webinars accordingly
- Consult with salesman for all testing compliance questions upon request
- Receive reports for special customer testing programs and create and provide GCC’s and other documentation to comply with requirements(Justice, LTD, Burlington FOB, Disney Stores FOB, Target FOB, etc…)
- Work directly with customers for testing, compliance, and qc inquires as they arise
- Strong understanding of label and testing requirements for all INI products and all INI markets
- Extensive Knowledge of customer requirements and the ability to locate missing data in order to ensure successful delivery
